Mike Discenza
As CFO, Mike manages the financial, tax and digital activities of Cypress Creek. He has extensive global executive leadership experience across innovative infrastructure, renewable energy, financial, and project development companies.
Mike was most recently CFO and then President at Transurban-North America, a partnership between Transurban, a leading Australian public company, and major Australian and Canadian Infrastructure Funds, where he developed strategic plans, led a team of 200, managed a $250M+ P&L, and directed a master financing plan supporting $5B+ billion in capital investments in North America. Previously Mike was CFO at GeoGlobal Energy, a geothermal company in the US, Chile, and Germany, and H2Gen Innovations, which developed products to catalyze the adoption of hydrogen energy and related services. While he has spent most of his career in the private sector, Mike has also served two roles in government, including the White House Office of Management and Budget and the US Export-Import Bank. Mike graduated from Colgate University with a degree in Economics and received an MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
