Sarah Slusser
As CEO, Sarah is responsible for setting the vision and strategy of the company with a special focus on creating a culture of investing with conviction and discipline, creative problem solving, caring for our communities and people and collaborating with all stakeholders.
During her 21 years at AES, she rose to be a senior officer and built and ran the Mexico, Central America, and Caribbean division. Sarah co-founded GeoGlobal Energy, a geothermal developer, and Point Reyes Energy Partners, a solar and energy storage developer. Sarah graduated from Harvard University with honors and received an MBA from Yale School of Management. She is a member of the Board of Directors of TransAlta, a NYSE-listed company and Canada’s largest investor-owned power producer and wholesale marketer of electricity.
