Cypress Creek Renewables Donates $25,000 to Santa Cruz Valley Historic Museum

August 26, 2024

Eloy, AZ, Aug. 26, 2024 – Cypress Creek Renewables (Cypress Creek) and the Eloy Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) are pleased to announce that Cypress Creek has donated $25,000 to upgrade the Santa Cruz Valley Historic Museum so it meets The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Accessibility Standards.

Cypress Creek representative Stacy Gramazio, Director of External Affairs, and Heather Wise, Project Developer, attended the Chamber’s luncheon on Aug. 15, 2024, to present the donation to its members.

“We are grateful to the Eloy Chamber for working with us to identify needs in the community that benefit the residents of Eloy,” said Gramazio. “Ensuring that people of all abilities are able to see the museum and learn about the rich history of the Santa Cruz Valley is something we are proud to support.”

The donation will pay for the construction and landscaping costs required for ADA compliance, and the Chamber anticipates that the activity for the changes will start in early fall of 2024.

Andrew Rodriguez, Executive Director of the Eloy Chamber of Commerce stated, “We are excited that Cypress Creek has partnered with the chamber for this project and are looking forward to positive changes at the museum. It’s wonderful to have partners like Cypress Creek who are good neighbors to Eloy.”

The Santa Cruz Valley Historic Museum is operated by the Chamber and has been open to the public since 2020. As part of the original one-room schoolhouse in the region, it has numerous exhibits that tell the history of the Santa Cruz Valley and Eloy through photos, artifacts, and other contributions to the museum. The museum credits its success, in part, to its dedicated and knowledgeable volunteer staff.
