CCR Acquires North Carolina-Based FLS Energy

Cypress Creek Renewables is proud to announce that we are joining forces with one of the south’s leading solar energy engineering, construction and procurement firms—FLS Energy. FLS Energy, based in Asheville, North Carolina, is one of the region’s leading solar industry job creators. As such, the combined company will continue to be a force for solar energy and economic development in North Carolina and throughout the Southeast.

Here at Cypress Creek, we are looking forward to the growth opportunity this merger brings, and we are thrilled to have such a capable team of solar industry professionals join our employee roster. FLS projects will help grow the Cypress Creek portfolio by adding 350 megawatts of operational projects and a near-term pipeline of 600 megawatts. These gains will help further establish Cypress Creek as the nation’s leading developer, builder, owner and operator of distributed utility solar.

The combined regional efforts of Cypress Creek and FLS Energy put North Carolina at the forefront of clean energy technology in the Southeast.
