Thank you to our Cypress Creek Veterans
Each year we take time today, Veterans Day, to publicly recognize and thank the men and women who have served our country and are now part of the Cypress Creek team. This year we talked with our Cypress Creek Veterans affinity group and have a message to share from one of our team to mark the holiday:
Thank you for your service will be shared with Veteran’s as we celebrate their service and sacrifice to our country. However, the quiet understanding among Veterans is our thankfulness to have served. This thankfulness stems from the values, lessons, and life-long comradery originating from this service. In an age of selfishness and craving for individual attention, the veteran experience is marked with selflessness – the superiority of the team over the individual. In an era of vitriol and divide, trust – demonstrated by an individual’s character, competence, and commitment – unites a team regardless of race, gender, or political views. Finally, the veteran experience is focused on the principles of Mission First and People Always. “There is no substitute for victory” is the commitment veterans make to persevere and win while ensuring they protect and care for their teammates.
Thank you to the veterans who answered the call and those Cypress Creek team members who continue to serve in the National Guard or Military Reserves.
