Cypress Creek is honored to play an integral role in the national trade association for the US solar industry on the SEIA Board.

Cypress Creek Renewables, the nation’s leading developer of local solar projects, is proud to announce the appointment of its CEO, Matthew McGovern, to the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) Board of Directors. As one of the largest and fastest-growing solar developers in the country, Cypress Creek is thrilled to play such an integral role in the national trade association for the US national solar industry. It will be a great opportunity to share ideas on how to make Solar mainstream and put as much solar in the ground as possible. Cypress Creek will also have an appointee (Jeff McKay who heads PR efforts for Cypress Creek) on the SEIA PR committee that meets biweekly. Cypress Creek is excited to be able to participate on best practices for spreading solar industry related news to as many people as possible on the SEIA Board.

“Cypress Creek Renewables has quickly become a respected leader, and we’re looking forward to benefiting from their vast expertise and proven collaborative skills on our diverse board,” said Tom Kimbis, SEIA’s interim president. “Their commitment to the communities they serve creates jobs, strengthens local economies and advances the solar industry as a whole, which aligns perfectly with SEIA’s mission and vision.”

SEIA represents member companies from all aspects of the solar energy industry, including distributed generation, solar heating and cooling, solar services and consumers and utility-scale solar power. SEIA advocates for solar market expansion on behalf of its membership, as well as promoting public awareness of the benefits of solar energy and sustainability

“Cypress Creek is honored to be joining the Board of Directors of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA). We’re excited for the opportunity to work alongside other industry leaders in furthering our goal of putting as much solar on the ground as possible,” said Cypress Creek Renewables CEO Matthew McGovern.
