Cypress Creek Mission and Shared Values

Cypress Creek is powering a sustainable future, one project at a time. We are excited this week to share Cypress Creek’s Mission Statement and our shared values: Care, Courage, Creativity, Conviction and Collaboration. 

Since joining the company in June, Kim, Becky and I, along with the entire executive team, have listened to Cypress people across our Development, O&M Services, and Asset Management Services divisions, and our Shared Services corporate team, to learn what drives each of us and how we hold each other accountable. So many of us are drawn to work in a purpose-driven organization – to make the world better through our work. So, we created this mission statement to capture our care for future generations and the scale we continue to achieve through our experience and attention to every single project we develop, operate, manage and own. 

Our Five Cs – Care, Courage, Creativity, Conviction and Collaboration – are our guideposts as we work across hundreds of individual projects. It is challenging and meaningful work that we do, and it is so important that we prioritize how we do it. Specifically, our five Cs guide how we work with each other and how we work with our valued partners including community members, landowners, vendors, lenders, utilities and customers. 

Today Cypress Creek has developed more than 6 GW of solar in regulated and deregulated markets across the country and operates a growing fleet of more than 2.5 GW of solar. We are excited about what our team has in store and what impact we’ll continue to have on our communities and the environment as we work on powering a sustainable future, one project at a time. – Sarah Slusser
